We are very proud of our volunteer fire department. There are currently 25 members and five important, much appreciated women to handle the communications.

All of our firefighters are Level 1, and some are currently working on Level 2.

Six men are trained in Search & Rescue.

Four men are trained for Infant Car Seat Inspection.

There are five officers in the department.

We are fortunate to be part of the 911 system. The department is paged through the 911 Centre in Brandon, MB. And, being a member of the Grand Valley Mutual Aid District, when extra help is needed, we have the assistance of other departments in the area.

Members meet on the 1st and 3rd tuesdays of each month at 7:00 pm in the firehall. Following the meetings there is usually hands-on practice and training.
