Picture yourself, over 125 years ago, making the arduous journey by horse-drawn cart, over miles of rough trail, lured by the promise of 160 acres to call your own.
Visit the Carberry Plains Museum and touch and feel early prairie life.
The extensive artifact collections include paintings from the eccentric Criddle-Vane family and memorabilia from famous former residents Tommy Douglas, Stanley Knowles and WW1 pilot Wop May. The museum also includes extensive sports memorabilia from all eras and many decade-specific collections.
Next door to the Museum, visit our fully-restored Gingerbread House, a unique and stunning tribute to a fanciful architectural style. One of only 3 in Canada.
