Also will coordinate hired services such as:

• Companion Sitting
• Yard Care
• Snow Removal
• Minor Repairs
• House Cleaning
• Window, floor and wall washing

The Carberry Plains Service for Seniors also takes bookings for the Handivan Service and Volunteer Driver Program, the services must be booked 24 hours in advance. 

HandiVan fees are as follows:

• $8.00 for in town trips
• Out of town trips – $5.00 per person plus .70 cents per kilometer
  
  Driver waiting time will be implemented for non-medical trips in excess of 4 hours at a rate of $15/hours

Recommended fees for volunteer drivers:

• Carberry to Brandon/return   $50
• Carberry to Neepawa/return  $50
• Carberry to Winnipeg/return  $200

If an individual requires multiple medical trips via the Carberry HandiVan or Carberry Service for Seniors Volunteer Driver Program, an application can be made to the Carberry Needs Fund to offset the cost of transportation for those that require assistance.
