Things to Do

Where To Begin?

With a strong interest in our history and a clear vision for our future, a visit to the Town of Carberry can be anything you choose.

Our Museum, beautiful Gingerbread House, and the Seton Centre give a clear picture of where we’ve been and who we are.

From sports memorabilia to artifacts from early prairie life, our Museum displays are a fascinating look back.

As well, our recently renovated and celebrated Gingerbread House is a breath-taking marvel of turn-of-the-century fanciful architecture.

We also celebrate the talent and passion of our former resident, famed naturalist, Ernest Thompson Seton at The Seton Centre in downtown Carberry.

From our country fair, to the crystal waters of our  swimming pool, we celebrate the arrival of summer every year. No visit would be complete without nine holes at the Sandhills Golf and Country Club, located just south of Carberry.

Camp and explore beautiful Spruce Woods Provincial Park, 15 minutes south of Carberry. Or camp at our own Municipal Campground or Ag Society grounds, compete with fully serviced lots, showers and modern washroom facilities.

Winter holds as much fun as summer, with non-stop events at our local Recreation Centre. From bonspiels to hockey tournaments, winter in Manitoba wouldn’t be the same without curling and hockey! Or just come for a skate and celebrate winter in Carberry!
